Q: What is Amy?
A: Amy is your 24/7 Social Secretary - an AI-powered assistant that helps you coordinate in-person activities with your friends. She handles the back-and-forth texting to find times that work, suggests venues, and makes sure everyone's on the same page.
Q: How does Amy work?
A: Once you tell Amy who you want to meet and what you'd like to do, she reaches out to your friend via text message to coordinate the details. Amy finds a time that works for both of you, suggests a venue based on your preferences, and sends you both a calendar invite once everything is confirmed. She’ll also suggest additional people to catch up with as well as help you discover new great activities!
Q: Does Amy read my personal messages?
A: No. Amy only analyzes metadata like email frequency and common meeting patterns to provide better recommendations. We never read the content of your personal messages or emails. Any coordination Amy does is transparent - you can see all conversations in your Chat History.
Q: How does Amy contact my friends?
A: Amy sends text messages to your friends from a dedicated phone number. Your friends will know the message is from Amy coordinating on your behalf. They can respond directly to confirm times, suggest changes, or ask questions.
Q: What if my friend doesn't respond?
A: Amy will send a friendly reminder after 24 hours. If there's still no response after a few days, Amy will let you know and suggest you might want to reach out directly. You'll always see the status of your coordination requests in Amy's Progress.
Q: Can I cancel or change a meetup?
A: Yes! You can view all active coordination in Amy's Progress. If plans change, you can message us directly or update your preferences. Amy will help you reschedule or cancel with your friend.
Q: What types of activities can Amy coordinate?
A: Amy can help coordinate coffee, lunch, dinner, drinks, brunch, happy hour, cultural events, sports activities, and general catch-ups. You can select your preferred activities during onboarding and in the Generate A Connect feature.
Q: How much does Amy cost?

Q: Is my data secure?
A: Yes. We take privacy and security seriously. We only access the minimum data needed to coordinate your activities, and we never share your information with third parties. All communication is encrypted, and you can delete your data at any time from Settings.
Q: Can I use Amy for work meetings?
A: Amy is designed for social coordination with friends and personal connections. As we’re social and professionals, Amy of course can help you with any meet ups you want to plan!
Q: How do I invite my friends to use Amy?
A: Your friends don't need to have Amy to meet up with you - Amy will coordinate with them via text. However, if they want their own Amy, you can share your referral code from the Share Amy option in the menu to get them early access.
